How Great is Our God!

* I wrote this last night, but the video had trouble uploading. So here it is today!*

Another day with the girls in stable conditions! They seemed so peaceful today. It was pretty hard for me because this was the first day that I went to the hospital without Wade. It was even harder for him since he wasn't able to go see the girls until this evening.
Both Liana and Adleigh are on their medication to close their PDA's. We will find out tomorrow if Adleigh has closed and on Saturday about Liana's. We are praying hard that both will be closed because the medication they are on seems to have a negative effect on their kidneys.
Adleigh had her brain ultrasound today and I actually was in the room when they came around so I asked if I could stay. The ultrasound tech said that her head looks good!
God is so faithful and good to us. He has given us strength to handle the rough days and shown us how to rejoice in every situation. We are getting to know other families in the NICU and being an encouragement to them and also trying to speak words of how powerful our God is to the nurses and doctors. Apparently some nurses think we are in denial about the health of our girls since we have put scriptures on their isolettes. They will be amazed at the power of our awesome and mighty God when our girls are healed and leaving before any believes possible.

Here is a video of Adleigh having one of her temper tantrums. I am so thankful to hear a cry come out of that throat and to see arms and legs moving around!

Isn't that something. She is precious. I have only met you once or twice while buying t-shirts! I wanted to say congratulations on your beautiful babies, and He is working at His very careful pace to bring your girls to a full recovery. You can't rush perfection, and the progress they are making is remarkable. I pray for your family everyday. I would love to make a meal for you and your family, but I'm not sure how I would get it to you. You have to stay just as strong as those fiesty little Joye girls! I can bring it to church and give it to someone close to you if you would like. Enjoy those beautiful little gifts!

Please be encouraged by our continued prayers. I also wanted to share how encouraging your faith is to me. My heart broke to hear that some might mistake this for a state of denial. Your examples of faith are a testimony to those in the NICU and those of us who have been directed to your blog.

Aww. I can't imagine how much good it must do for your heart and Wades when you are able to hold or touch one of them or hear their cries, however brief it may be. God is usin all four of you to inspire so many people beyond those hospital walls. Thank you!

God had already healed your babies!! I'm excited to read the testimony that this will be to all of the non-believers in the hospital and elsewhere. Hebrews 11:1 should encourage you b/c you both have tremendous faith which is the evidence that your precious little girl's healing has already happened! We're in prayer for your family, rejoicing with you!! God bless!

I've been keeping up with you since I found out you were pregnant and in the area. I don't know you, but I'm an old friend of Wade's from Camp Longridge and College days. We are praying for you all and your girls. What a miracle they are already=) God Bless.

Dear Ferris,
You don't know me, but I am a member at Elevation (can I be called an Elevator then?) and have met Wade several times while in the offices. (I helped John Bishop regularly during the Fall.) I write to offer both the prayers of my family and some practical assistance. My older sister is a pediatrician and also was forced to deliver her first of three girls at 28 weeks. As a doctor and mother of a very premature girl, she has been on the path you now travel and can offer you both answers and hope. My niece is now 11 and the smartest, most beautiful ballerina you've ever seen. (So much for dire predictions!) My sister is patient (she has me for a sister she has to be!) and would be happy to help even if only over the phone. I will give her contact info to Wade through John Bishop. Your faith is an inspiration to me and I pray that your miracle continues!
